OPEN & HONEST COMMUNICATION

AT ALL LEVELS

Wouldn’t it be nice to work in a private physio practice based in hertfordshire which is driven by clinical excellence and evidence-based practice, without gimmicks, sales pitches, packages of care sales, or salary based on how much money you make for the clinic?

What about having control to dictate how much treatment your patient needs, how much time they need for each visit and which treatment approach you wished to use with them?!

How about time allocated for, report writing, reaching out to clients, building relationships and open discourse with them? Throw in some CPD time and funded external train course budgets perhaps?

Perhaps it would be nice to work with a positive, supportive group of professional colleagues and an admin team focused on making bookings and dealing with insurance companies much easier?

It seems like a pipe dream, I know, but that has been a big part of our goals for the Shawe Physio ethos and workplace since our inception, and you know what? We did it!

If you would like to be a part of our team, then one of the job vacancies below might suit you. If not, we are very happy for you to proactively send us your CV to potentially join our ever expanding family in the future.

Why work with us?

Shawe Physio was founded off the back of Michael Shawe’s frustrations with working in both the NHS and the Private sector as a Physiotherapist. In the NHS he found he was unable to give his patients the standard of care they deserved due to short appointment times and limited numbers of appointments available to patients, as well as patients having to wait a very long time to see clinicians.

In the private sector he found that many practices were overly revenue focused, encouraging practitioners to sell packages of care rather than treat the cause as efficiently as possible.

Michael wanted instead to form a practice that focused on treating patients how he himself wished to be treated - by always putting the patients’ interests’ firsts, focusing on true care that educated and empowered patients and always aimed to treat the cause of the issue not just the symptoms. His approach focuses on a mixed stance of manual and exercise therapy with the best current evidence-based treatments in mind.

Since opening Shawe Physio in 2015, the clinic has grown into an expert team of clinicians, with MSK base qualifications, individual specialisms and mountains of great experience.

Thanks to all the great members of our team, Shawe Physio has become an exceptional place to work, with outstanding patient reviews and unparalleled customer experience.

Our regular team socials are an important part of our team culture and we pride ourselves on a supportive and enjoyable workplace environment, challenging and encouraging our staff to be the best they can be.
